Ron Reano is the newest faculty member at the ESL. He earned his BS in Physics from UCLA in 1991, his BSEE from the University of New Mexico in 1996, and his MS and PhD from the University of Michigan in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He is a member of IEEE and the Optical Society of America.
Dr. Reano's research interests involve integrated optics, electro-optics, and hybrid RF/optical devices for innovation in sensors, communications systems, and computing; planar lightwave circuits; device fabrication in polymers, semiconductors, amorphous glasses, and ceramics; nanoimprint lithography; bionanotechnology.
