The ElectroScience Laboratory (ESL) at The Ohio State University has been and continues to be a world leader in electromagnetics education and research for the past fifty years. More than 65 graduate and undergraduate students conduct world-class research at ESL.

Over the years our graduates have moved on from the ElectroScience Laboratory to very successful careers in government, industry and academia.

In addition to frequent seminars and other educational opportunities, ESL partners with industry and public sector organizations to provide a diverse array of research and instructional opportunities.

The ESL is also home to the Consortium on Electromagnetics and Radio Frequencies (CERF). Under this consortium, member companies have access to state-of-the-art facilities, faculty and student researchers as well as specialty training courses that are tailored to member needs. Annual technical meetings are held to further cultivate the research relationship with members of the consortium and to share the latest research findings between ESL-CERF members.
