ESL Students Take the 2nd and 3rd Place in the Poster Competition

ESL was the venue for the annual John D. and Alice Nelson Kraus Memorial Graduate Student Poster Competition on April 23, 2015 at 5:00 - 7:00 PM. 15 ECE sraduate students competed for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and received $500, $300 and $100 monetary prizes respectively. The student posters were judged by ECE Alumni, who gathered at ESL for their quarterly ECE Alumni Meet-Up event, which aims to promote interaction between the ECE alumni and ECE students. ESL students claimed the second and third places in the poster competion. Congratulations to Satheesh and Andrew for representing ESL successfully at the competition.
Winners:
- 1st place: Edwin Lee. Advised by Dr. Siddharth Rajan. Poster Title: 2D Layuered MoS2 and 2D/3D Junctions.
- 2nd place: Satheesh Bojja-Venkatakrishnan. Advised by Dr. John L. Volakis. Poster Title: UWB Digital Beamformer Realization Employing a Novel On-Site Coding using FPGAs
- 3rd Place: Andrew Kintz. Advised by Dr. Inder J. Gupta. Poster Title: A New Approach to Resolving Emitter Locations in the Presence of Antenna Manifold Mismatch
