Lucas Duncan to Present in ISSCC 2017

Lucas Duncan becomes one of the two graduate students from the ElectroScience Laboratory (ESL) in the last five years to earn a spot in the prestiguious IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and the first "All Ohio State University" educated student to have an ISSCC paper. Luke will give a 30-minute presentation on "A 10-bit DC-20 GHz Multiple-Return-to-Zero DAC with >48 dB SFDR" at the conference which will take place in San Francisco, CA on February 5-9, 2017. The co-authors of his paper are: Brian Dupaix, Jamin McCue, Brandon Mathieu, Mesfin Teshome, Myung-Jun Choe, Waleed Khalil.

The last time Ohio State University was presented in ISSCC was in  2013 with Qiyang Wu (PhD ECE, 2013), who was a graduate student at ESL advised by Professor Waleed Khalil until his graduation, with his paper on "A 10mW 37.8GHz Current-Redistribution BiCMOS VCO with an Average FOMT of -193.5dBc/Hz". ISSCC is the flagship conference of the Solid-State Circuits Society since 1954, and is the premier forum for the presentation of advances in solid-state circuits and systems-on-a-chip.

We congratulate Luke and his co-authors on this prestigious accomplishment.
