Shariar Receives Summer Fellowship From ARL

Shahriar Rashid, a Ph.D. candidate advised by Prof. Waleed Khalil, receives the Journeyman Fellowship Award for summer 2017 from the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL). ARL's Summer Journeyman Fellowship Program allows undergraduates, graduates students and recent postgraduates at the bachelor’s and master’s level to engage in research initiatives of their own choice, that are compatible with the interests of the government and will potentially contribute to the general effort of the ARL's mission to develop technologies that will support army forces in meeting future operational needs. As a Fellow, Shariar will participate in research at a state-of-the-art laboratory located in Adelphi, MD., and will be mentored by an ARL scientist or engineer.
