Nandhini Receives 3rd Place in Best Paper Competition

Nandihini Srinivasan received the 3rd place at the 2017 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and URSI Meeting student paper competition. Her paper is titled “High-resolution Polarimetric THz Imaging for Biomedical Applications,” and was co-authored by Cosan Caglayan, Niru K. Nahar and Kubilay Sertel. The meeting was held in San Diego, CA on July 9–14, 2017.

Notably, Nandhini competed with nearly 160 paper submissions worldwide to become one of the the final 13 student authors who competed for top three best paper awards. Among finalists two other ESL students competed for the top prizes at the IEEE meeting. Full list of ESL students who received recognition are:
