13 Students Selected for the Grad Student Paper Competition

IEEE-APMTT Columbus Chapter, in partnership with ElectroScience Laboratory, is organizing a Graduate Student Poster Competition on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 on “Antennas, Microwaves, and Electromagnetics”. The abstract submission deadline was October 20th and thirteen succesful submissions from various universities in the State of Ohio received acceptance letters to the competition. Here are some highlights of the upcoming competition:

  • 13 student posters from several Universities in the broad OH area covered by the Columbus IEEE AP/MTT Chapter.
  • Cash prizes for the best posters of the evening: 1st place award - $500, 2nd place award - $300, 3rd place award - $200. Winners will also receive a certificate.
  • Catering: A light buffet will be provided.
  • Event day/time: 11/16/2016, 5pm-7.30pm.
  • Event location: ElectroScience Lab, The Ohio State University, 1330 Kinnear Rd., Columbus, OH, 43212 (free parking is available)
  • Registration: The registration is free of charge but RSVP is required to attend.
