Top 3 Awards Go to ESL Students at the IEEE Grad Student Poster Competition

ESL graduate students receive top prizes at the Graduate Poster Competition, organized by IEEE-AP/MTT Columbus Chapter on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, held at the ESL atrium area. We congratulate all three winners for their accomplishments and making us proud.

3rd place: Matthew Buchanan. "Design of a Groupd-Based Beacon Signal for Calibration of Spaceborne GNSS Remote Sensing Instruments", co-authored by Andrew J. O'Brien and Bruce P. Block.

The competition focused on "Antennas, Microwaves, and Electromagnetics" and organizers received twenty abstract submissions who represented several Universities in the State of OH. Among them thirteen contestants were selected to compete for the first three spots. Top three reciepients received monetary awards, $500, $300, $200 respectively and a certificate showcasing their accomplishments.
